The first time I saw The Seven Samurai, I was extremely inspired. This sketch was a mock-up of a large painting on panels that I created in the following month. To this day, I feel that this small doodle is the single-most successful endeavor in that project, much to my dismay. It seems that I could not express properly the awesomeness that I had witnessed in Kurosawa's work.
